Mid-Century Modern Ranch (3BR, 2BA) for Rent, July-Aug 2024

I’m a Cornell faculty member looking to rent my spacious, open-concept ranch home for a month this summer (early July to early-mid August). The tenants who were going to rent it had to back out. The house is furnished, in quiet Belle Sherman, on a dead-end street.

The home has all appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.) with central air and sunlit views out patio doors onto back deck. It’s a short walk to the Cornell campus (.7 miles, with no hills!), 6 Mile Creek reservoir hike, and to the Ithaca Commons. Safe, quiet neighborhood. I have a cat who would prefer to stay in the house for the term of the rental (he’s indoor/outdoor), but arrangements can be made if that’s not ideal.

Rent: $2500/whole month or $1000 weekly (available dates: July 8-August 15 but flexible)

Short term rental possible

* Master bedroom with en suite, renovated bathroom
* Back deck with patio furniture and hammocks and inflatable hot-tub
* Ranch-style floor plan -- no stairs
* Dead-end street (no through traffic)
* Short walk to East Hill Recreation Trail (walking path to campus), Six Mile Creek Reservoir, Ithaca Commons, Campus, and Collegetown...
